MINI in the Mountains 2013: A Recap
MINI in the Mountains 2013: A Recap
The 2013 MINIs in the Mountains on August 7-11 was one of the best years yet. Over 200 MINI lovers from all over came to Avon, CO to ‘Drive Out Loud’ and celebrate their love for the MINI brand.
Avon provided beautiful weather for the many MINI drivers of all ages. Group rides took place Thursday through Saturday. On Thursday, drivers got to choose from the Shutterbug Run to Louisville, the Ride to Redstone, and a drive through the Gore Pass for ice cream. On Friday, the options were a drive to Rifle Falls for a picnic, a Countryman Run, a trip to the famous South Park, and a ride to Belly Ridge for ice cream, a visit to three of Vail’s breweries. On Saturday, drivers got to participate in the Sylvan Lake Breakfast Ride, the Redcliff lunch run, and the Vail ice cream run.
MINIs in the Mountains attracted MINI-loving-couples as well as families with kids. The MINI Parade started at The Christie Lodge and went through the streets of Beaver Creek and Avon. At the end of the parade, the MINIs that participated were parked on display for the MINI Madness event.
Schomp MINI would like to thank MINIs in the Mountains for having us as the exclusive platinum level sponsor and vendor. It was an awesome event and we can’t wait until next year.
