A Countryman Day Trip

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park:
If you love rides and exploring, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is one of the best places to become a kid again.
The new Historic Fairies Cave Tour is a 45-minute guided tour that takes you down into the earth and into territory that until now hasn’t been seen by many. If you easily get claustrophobic and going inside of a cave doesn’t excite you, the rides on the top of the mountain are probably you’re best suit.
The Adventure Park’s Giant Canyon Swing is both thrilling and frightening. Swinging you 1,300 feet above the Colorado River, this ride requires braveness, because once you’re strapped in, you’re on allowed to hang on and enjoy the view.

Eldorado Springs Resort and Pool:
You may have tasted their water, but did you know that Eldorado Natural Spring water is a town that has a swimming pool?
The resort opened in 1905 and has attracted both locals and those who want a different ‘day at the pool’ experience.
Settled in the mountains with beautiful surroundings, this pool is natural and refreshing. It’s fed directly from the artesian spring, and it has a sun deck where you can enjoy the view and the Colorado sunshine.

Heritage Square:
Just about 15 minutes straight across the highway, Heritage Square is a quaint entertainment village with little shops, restaurants and rides.
Heritage Square is the only place in the Denver metro that has a giant, human maze. They also have a laser maze and ropes course. But the ride that Heritage Square is most famous for is the Alpine Slide. For over 30 years, the Alpine Slide has been zooming down and zipping around the curves of the mountain.
Heritage Square is a family experience, but you can also attend the dinner theatre for a fun date night out.
